Liceoma lotion is used for lice treatment and scabies treatment in Nairobi Kenya. It is a prescription medication manufactured by Glenmark Pharmaceuticals for the treatment of head lice (Pediculosis capitis), body lice (Pediculus humanus corporis), crab lice (Pthirus pubis or pubic lice) and scabies.

Liceoma Lotion Dose
For lice treatment, it is applied to the hair and other affected areas and left on for 6 -12 hours before being washed off thoroughly.
For scabies treatment, the person takes a warm bath while scrubbing the affected areas with soap and water. After drying the body, the medication is applied from the neck downwards and left on the body for 24 hours after which the person takes another bath and puts on fresh clothes.
Liceoma Lotion Side Effects
Side effects of lindane include headache, dizziness, seizures and death. These side effects are more common in the elderly, children and persons weighing less than 50kg.
Liceoma Lotion Precautions
Do not use it if you are allergic to lindane.
It should be used cautiously by persons at risk of developing seizures like those with head injuries, intracranial lesions, eating disorders, abusing benzodiazepines or ethanol, taking bupropion, systemic steroids, antipsychotics, quinolone antibiotics, and medications for HIV and malaria.
