The Glow High Tea was an event for Kenyan Christian Woman. It was organized by the young Christian women of City Lighter’s Church. It was held on March 25th, 2023 at the Elysian Resort in Runda, Kiambu, Kenya. Elysian Resort is a Christian retreat center in Kiambu, Kenya. It is located in Runda, Kiambu which is less than 1 hour drive from Nairobi the capital city.
This Christian women’s even was held in a large, spacious room in the resort. The room was well decorated with balloons, flowers and draperies.
Program
This Christian Women’s event in Kenya was well organized with a balanced program which perfectly answered the question, “What happens in a Christian women’s retreat?” This is because there was time for ice breaking, eating food, listening to the Word of God, taking photos, listening to our speakers and being entertained.
Speakers
There were several speakers in this Kenyan Christian Women’s event and each gave a noteworthy talk. One speaker taught us the principles of etiquette, another gave us a finantcial talk on business, we also received a wellness health talk and a fashion talk. The final talk of the day was by a Pastor who edified us.

Food
A wide range of delicious food was served. This included, beef burgers, samosa, chicken pies and healthy fruit juice.
Networking
One of the speakers gave us time to mingle and get each other’s contacts and business info so that we could keep in touch and support each other. It was an awesome networking time as we got to meet women in different fields and make new friends.
Christian Music
We were blessed by the music of a Kenyan Gospel Musician.
Live Music
We were also entertained by a Kenyan violinist.
Gifts
Each of the ladies who attended was given a gift card with a silver spoon to commemorate the high tea and some uniquely packed chocolates.

In conclusion, the Glow High Tea was a successful Christian women’s retreat in Kenya since it was designed to strengthen their faith and foster their relationships with each other. It also achieved the purpose of a spiritual retreat which is to give participants a time to relax and recharge their walk with Jesus Christ.
